The Drum Twister is the most versatile of its kind used for
laying - Power ccables - round , sectorial,
performed or straight. Telephone cables in groups without

Construction....
Machine consists of 4 Rotating pay-offs,
trumpets for core guiding, sector sensing
unit, rotating die holder, taping units,
filler bobbin pay-offs, rotating caterpillar
and a rotating take-up.
Pay Off
Rotating pay-
off devices consist of a
robust
fork in welded steel fitted with motorised
pintles. Fork is fixed onto a
disc supported
on '
Gesadur' under rollers. The
unit is equipped witha pneumatic disc break,
pressure
controlled through a regulator.
Sector Sensing Unit
Prespiralled cores are guided through shaped
rollers which are on the bearings.This will
actuate limit switches / proxy in case there
is a defect in the prespiralled lay and
these will operate the motor fixed on each
pay - off unit.
